Shopping in Sarasota

Vacation often means time spent relaxing, eating in restaurants, and shopping.  There are so many fabulous locations to go shopping in Sarasota while you are visiting. St. Armand's Circle

This attractive island circle of businesses is a must-see. Located on Lido Key, there are about 150 shops to choose from on "The Circle". In addition to gift and specialty shops, there are a variety of wonderful restaurants, coffee and confectionery shops on St. Armand's Circle.

The Mall at University Town Center

The newest and largest shopping center in Sarasota is also known as "The Mall at UTC".  Opened in the fall of 2014, the mall includes department stores Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's, Dillards, and restaurants like Seasons 52, The Capital Grille and The Cheesecake Factory. The mall is located in Lakewood Ranch and is surrounded by a variety of nearby stores and restaurants, including a Super Target, ULTA, Chipotle and more.

Westfield Mall Sarasota

This mall has an abundance of shops for teenagers, anchor stores Costco, Dillards, J.C. Penney, Macy's and Sears, a food court and an AMC movie theater. The AMC Sarasota 12 theater is one of the most popular movie theaters in Sarasota. It also offers IMAX screenings. The Westfield Mall is family friendly, including a parent/child lounge, play space, smart cart strollers, family events and convenient parking.

Southgate Mall

Southgate Mall is an upscale Westfield Mall. Recently renovated, Southgate Mall now has new ceiling fans, chandeliers, restroom renovations and a family lounge. This shopping mall features many stores and an attached dine-in theater, CineBistro. CineBistro is an experience like no other, equipped with a bar, lounge area and multiple dine-in theaters. The theater is open to all until 6 pm when it is restricted to those 21 and up.

Southside Village

Next to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Southside Village is a beautiful area to grab a bite to eat and shop. From traditional restaurants and coffee shops to Morton's Gourmet Market, there's an abundance of options for dining. After grabbing a bite, you can explore the shops on South Osprey Ave. and Hillview.

Downtown Sarasota

In downtown Sarasota, you can find gift shops, books, art galleries, home furnishing and clothing/accessory stores around Main Street, Palm Avenue and First Street. This area is pedestrian-friendly to those who want to stroll at their leisure. Shopping in the heart of Sarasota is one of the best ways to give visitors a great taste of the unique atmosphere of the city and its people.
